We collaborate with artisan families across small villages in Zakarpattia. For them, willow weaving is far more than a profession — it is a living family legacy.
Every skill, technique, and secret of the trade has been handed down through the decades, shaping each piece entirely by hand.
THE MATERIAL — ROOTED IN NATURE
Every creation starts with natural willow, grown and harvested in the very same region our artisans call home.
Once gathered, the stems are carefully sorted, prepared, and naturally dried. It is a simple, renewable material honored by local craftspeople for centuries.
THE PROCESS — MADE SLOWLY. SHAPED BY HAND
There are no assembly lines here. Every single item is woven by hand, one rod at a time. A single basket can take days to complete, while larger, more complex designs require weeks of meticulous labor.
Because willow is a natural element and every piece is crafted by hand, subtle variations in tone, texture, and weave make your piece genuinely one of a kind.

The lampshade was exactly what I was looking for and is beautifully made. The craftsmanship is excellent. Shipping was relatively quick from the Ukraine to the U.S. You do have to cut an opening in the top of the shade with nippers but that allows for a custom fit with whatever pendant kit you use.
